Welcome

Addressing human rights, and issues relating to it, will and should continue to be a priority of democratic societies. Anti-discrimination is one of  the main issues  that currently dominates debates in European member states, and in general, in societies across Europe.

History influences the understanding and practice of human rights. Individuals, countries and even regions have different experiences and associations, as shown by the different educational practises on human rights.

The Together for Human Rights project seeks to raise awareness and broaden the knowledge of human rights in Europe, through the integration of transnational perspectives into human rights education. Bringing together both historical and educational experiences on human rights from five countries enhances the project’s work, which is to gather practices on human rights education, gather learning materials, and develop recommendations on human rights education in Europe.

On this site, you will be able to follow the progress of the project and explore our findings and work on human rights and human rights education.
